Rubber covered valves offer a significant reduction in machine downtime when deflating and inflating tyres. They are designed to give an improved airflow in comparison with standard large bore valves. The bend radii have been increased and the valves are manufactured using tube which has an 80% larger bore area than conventional large bore tubing. The thinner wall section is protected from abrasion by a resilient 2mm thick neoprene rubber sleeve. These valves are mounted in a position that provides complete protection from rock damage. N.B. When fitting these valves to an inner rear assembly, it is essential that the rock ejector bar and valve guard plate comply with the machine manufacturers original specification and are fitted correctly. Failure to observe this warning can result in damage to the wheel/hub/planetary gear assembly.
